LGH Ward 1E Courtyard

Redevelopment of an existing outdoor area adjacent the Children’s Ward to provide a break-out space for children & their carers, as well as areas for quiet conversation. All materials needed to be craned in and the design had to address the 450Kg/M2 maximum loading allowed on the slab. This was achieved by using lightweight planting media and installing foam blockouts in the bases of the high planters.
